1. The RTI auto drain requires 110V AC.
2. There is a simple knob that you set for purge duration. Typically it’s only a second or two.
3. There is a simple knob that you set for purge frequency. Typically shops set this for once an hour.
4. The test button is used to test the device during service.
Please Note: Make sure you are not setting the drain for long purge times on a frequent basis as it may overwork your compressor. Hot compressors make hot air.Hot air can hold additional moisture and the goal is to minimize moisture!
Required Maintenance. It’s very simple. There is a metal screen that screws into the valve. You’ll want to make sure that twice a year you take it out and clean it. It’s what keeps the exhaust port open for the electric switch to allow for the units discharge.
